Bes Liebenberg serves as the Executive Board Member for Research & Development with the ACUHO-I Southern Africa Chapter. In this role, she is committed to promoting evidence-based practice, strengthening collaboration between housing professionals, and advancing scholarship that supports student success across the region.

At the University of Pretoria, Bes oversees Student Support Services within the Department of Residence Affairs, including Student Wellbeing, Leadership Development, and Living and Learning Support. Her goal is to bridge research and practice to enhance inclusive, supportive, and thriving residential communities.
